“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge,” said Albert Einstein. Marking this joy, Don Bosco Liluah celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 5, 2013.

The day commenced with Eucharistic celebrations, presided over by the Rector, Fr. Biji  and the kissing of Mother Teresa’s relic. In the school assembly, the Principal, Br. Jose, urged students to make the day joyous for their teachers. The class felicitations that followed marked their creativity, innovation & unmatched enthusiasm. In continuation was the programme in the auditorium.

The lighting of the lamp was followed by the Rector’s message and a cultural fiesta, including a well-rehearsed skit, songs, a teachers’ song, some beat-boxing &  dances, regaling the school & its teachers, for it also had the prefects & captains on the floor, dancing, to commemorate their teachers, The Vice Principal, Fr. Motilal delivered the vote of thanks.

The volleyball match between students & teachers followed and a musical chair competition. The teachers, replete with the celebrations, feasted on a sumptuous lunch, thus drawing the curtains on a fulfilling day.
