On 29th October, 2018, Don Bosco School, Liluah organized the second edition of Bosco Showtime, an inter-school short film festival with the theme – 'The art of listening and accompaniment'. The festival was designed with a lot of precision by Sir Neville Reay, Teacher Co-ordinator of Bosco Showtime alongwith the core committee members – Vaibhav Chaudhary, Prarjun Majumder and Sharonoy Adhikari. It aimed at providing the youth of Kolkata a perfect pedestal in the field of film-making.



The event saw participation from 12 top institutions across the city. The panel of judges comprised- Mr. Tathagata Chowdhury who is the founder of Theatrecian. According to the BBC Four, this youth theatre company was declared the most proficient and prolific youth theatre company in the country, Mrs. Saira Shah Halim who is a writer, educator, theatre personality, corporate trainer, poet and a social and political activist who is actively involved with causes such as gender equality, safeguarding secularism and democracy and women’s issues and Mr. Jaideep Singh who is an actor, model, anchor and has an experience of over 16 years in the field of theatre, direction, dance, singing, writing & public speaking. 



The event began with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by the key-note address from the Rector, Fr. Tomy Joseph. This was followed by a three-hour long film screening and interactive session with the judges and audience and ended with the prize distribution ceremony.
