The tone for the DBL May Day Celebrations 2018, was set last week itself with Class-12A conducting the morning prayer assembly on ‘Dignity of Labour’.  On 30 April 2018, the school as a body, expressed its gratitude to the entire non-teaching staff who work diligently and relentlessly to keep the DBL banner fluttering high. The programme, hosted in the school auditorium, began with a trilingual welcome address followed by the customary lighting of the lamp and Fr. Rector’s speech highlighting the invaluable behind-the-scenes contribution of the school’s ‘uncles’ and ‘aunts.’

Then came the variety entertainment programme put together by the junior, senior and technical school students.  There was a medley of songs, dances, a skit, a video presentation and even some enjoyable mimicry.  A surprise song item by one of our non-teaching staff, Mr. Bijay, regaled the audience.  The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Fr. Sunit Kiro, our Principal.  This was followed by the distribution of gifts (a pedestal fan and an iron) and a sumptuous snacks packet to each member.
