DON BOSCO HIGH SCHOOL, Liluah

FULL PANTS DAY

Graduation is not just a college event but sometimes a small reminder for bigger changes. An event unique in itself, hosted by Don Bosco School Liluah every year, The Full Pants Day. It is one of the most awaited celebrations for the class V boys when they bid adieu to their junior school teachers and enter the senior school. A time of early but the most exciting Graduation.

This year The Full Pants Day was hosted on the 14th of March in the school campus itself. The joy of the day was double since it was also the last day of exam. To begin with, the students of class V spent some quality time with their teachers. These are the teachers who will never be accompanying them in person, in the new phase of their life but their blessings are always an assured one.

The second phase of the celebration was a very emotional one. The students gathered in the Assembly Hall, surrounded by their teachers. After this, our Principal, Fr. Sunit Kiro welcomed the boys to the senior section with his words of welcome and wisdom. The boys were then made to sit to partake in a lunch of companionship where their teachers served them. This has always been an emotional and overwhelming situation.

A deep sense of gratitude, love, joy and contentment is always felt in seeing the students enter this new phase of their life. From the time they join in class KG to the time they graduate to class VI, the mothering is not just a wonderful experience but a true blessing from God. Graduation is not just a college event but sometimes a small reminder for bigger changes. An event unique in itself, hosted by Don Bosco School Liluah every year, The Full Pants Day.
