The 68th Republic Day of India was celebrated at Don Bosco School, Liluah with great patriotic zeal and fervour. The day began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our Rector. Fr Biji Thomas, followed by the National Anthem. Poems relating to Unity in Diversity were recited both in Hindi and Bengali.

The dance troupe, with their flawless moves danced to the tune of A. R Rahaman’s “Ma Tujhe Salaam”. The skit on corruption was an eye-opener to all and showed how corruption thrived in our country.

Father Rector’s message was very inspiring. He asked all to live up to the ideals set up by our leaders, strive tirelessly to stay in the right path and not digress into the wrong. We must take a firm stance against immorality and violence and do our duty with integrity, commitment and unflinching loyalty.
