Don Bosco School, Liluah hosted the South Asian Salesian Family Congress (SFC) on 26, 27 and 28 September 2015 to mark the conclusion of the bi-centenary celebration of Don Bosco’s birth.  Preparations for this landmark event had begun in 2014 with meetings at various levels.

Keshari Nath Tripathi, Governor of West Bengal and a cultural extravaganza materialized by students and teachers from various Don Bosco schools.  The high point of the day was the arrival and presence of Rev. Fr. Angel Fernandez Artime SDB, the Rector Major of the Salesians and the 10th successor of Don Bosco.  He was accompanied by Rev. Fr. Maria Arokiam Kanaga SDB, the Regional Superior for Asia, other major superiors, provincials and heads of congregations within the salesian family.  The programme ended with dinner and rosary.
